Has the Bubble burst?

Yes, football again! My second passion in life. Yesterday my beloved Aston Villa lost for the 1st time this season....and lost well! Aston Martin's Claret & Blue Army, the ONLY unbeaten team in England, were on the wrong end of a 3-1 scoreline at Anfield =(

This picture is of the 1st Liverpool goal.....notice Liam Ridgewell's tight-marking as Olof Melleberg desparately sticks out a leg.

I heard a rumour that the Jolly Green Giant is being watched closely by the powers that be at Aston Villa, he could soon be challenging Milan Baros for a starting place!!

It's 'only a game' ....... but one I probably focus too much time and passion on.....cuz I just love it!

Chris, Chris, Chris...you take it way too seriously! After 35 years of watching Villa you get used to these little slip-ups and crises!

We'll whack Chelsea in the cup so no worries! A little delusion helps a lot following Villa!

If Jolly Green Giant gets a chance, he'll probably do a lot better than Baros who has been poor this season!!! Go giant go!

I have never understood how people can get so passionate about football. It's just 22 grown men kicking a ball around a field. It's just a ballgame, nothing more nothing less, like Cricket, Rugby, Hockey, Polo Volleyball or any other game , that’s right a GAME and I can't get my blood to rise over a game whatever or whoever is playing.

Oh Dave, you'll learn!!

One of my first experiences of Matt, a few weeks after we met, was him coming home from a match. He looked terrible, I asked if he was ok and he said to just leave him on his own. When I asked his housemate if everything was ok and whether someone had died, he said Villa had lost and it was best not to speak to Matt till at least the next day!! A special fan!

My blood used to rise when David Ginola played for the villa - as did every other females' in the ground!!!

Currently we have little in the way of 'male totty'in our team!

By the way - Tony won't listen to the radio or buy a Sunday paper if Villa lose!

Answers to questions:

1) What new look?

2) A little ray of hope in the 'totty' stakes Gay? Way too manly!

3) 'And as for Milan Baros..' Oh dear.....
